What's Next!

COME SEE ME AT HURON PLAYHOUSE

This summer I will be working at The Huron Playhouse in Huron, Ohio! The shows this summer are Do Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect up?, The Importance of Being Earnest, State Fair, and The Curious Savage. I will not have time to be in every show, but I will be working on every show since all company members are rotated through specific work assignments in addition to rehearsing and assisting in the technical areas. This will allow me to be experienced in all aspects of summer theatre operations. We will audition for all shows and hold various production responsibilities. Check out Huron Playhouse on the web!

Huron Playhouse is a Division of the Bowling Green State University Department of Theatre & Film, the Huron Playhouse is Ohio's Oldest Continuing Summer Theatre. It offers the best available talent from semi-professional and educational theatre arenas from across the nation.

The Huron Playhouse is nestled in the heart of Lake Erie Vacationland in the charming community of Huron, Ohio. Centrally located an hour west of Cleveland, and an hour east of Bowling Green and Toledo, it stands only two blocks from the beautiful shores of Lake Erie.

Backstage at KSU

This semester I have been working backstage with the Kent Dance Ensemble as a gel changer. Some of my duties have been sweeping, mopping the floor to ensure the safety of every dancer and changing gels after every dance piece! I have been backstage in the past as an assistant stage manager for Dancelot Studio's Spring Recital in Cincinnati. Other crew experience includes: The Diviners (Run Crew, Anderson Theatre), Noises Off! (Run Crew, Anderson Theatre), Carousel (House Management, Anderson Theatre), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Costume Crew, Anderson Theatre) and Caucasian Chalk Circle (Wardrobe, KSU).
