STATE FAIR

The final show at the Huron Playhouse this summer was State Fair, I played Jeanne, a cooch dance. I also acted a dance captain for this production directed by Jim Williams. With my fellow dance captain Stephen Lowen, we met with company members outside of rehearsal and offered extra time in the mornings to do a physical warm up with members. We worked with Emily Cawrse Casale, the choreographer, to make sure everyone was comfortable with all the dancing taught over the course of a week and a half. Please check out some of the movement on facebook page! Click Here

Closing the season, the entire company striked the whole theatre that acts as a gymnasium during the school year. We worked long and hard ending around 4:20 am. I had a wonderful experience at the Huron Playhouse and I will cherish these memories for a long time.

Backstage at the Huron Playhouse!

Following the Importance of Being Earnest I was privileged to work on the wardrobe crew for The Curious Savage and Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up? In addition to working in the costume shop during the day, I was a dresser for the company during these shows. My responsibilities included preparing the dressing rooms for actor as well as doing quick changes and seeing to the company's backstage costume needs.
